For a short game I’ll just write a short review. Since this game is on Microsoft’s GamePass I encourage you reading this to try the game for yourself even if I myself didn’t enjoy it much.
The game is getting high praises by many people and even with its issues the game still does have its beautiful moments, so at least give it a small portion of your time to judge it by yourself.
Nelke & the Legendary Alchemists ~Ateliers of the New World – Review
Right after playing Atelier Shallie I decided to work on my atelier backlog but here is an interesting entry. Nelke & the Legendary Alchemist is a spinoff title, one to commemorate the series 20 years but before playing it I heard a good amount of complains about it which made me kind of wary of playing but I decided to give it at least a shot before moving on to something else and I’m glad to say my worries had been unfounded because after 53 hours with this game all I have to say about it are good things.

I found about Observation by complete chance. A friend of mine told me about it being on sale, so I decided to look into a review for it and since I am a sucker for this outer space ambience I decided to give it a shot without looking much into it, and I’ll straight out suggest you to do the same if you are in any way intrigued by it.

Resident Evil Zero is not entirely a bad game but it is without a doubt among the worst Resident Evil games I have played. I have a furious dislike for Resident Evil 6 and don’t get me wrong, there are a lot of things wrong with RE6 but at least the good moments are better than RE0. Staring this review comparing Resident Evil Zero with one of the most disliked entries of the franchise doesn’t make a good case for it but surely there is some good in it.

Amnesia: Rebirth certainly has some big shoes to fill. The sequel to not only one of the most influential horror games in recent memory, but also one of the scariest games ever made.
After having just finished Amnesia: Rebirth I am somewhat sad to find out that some fans of the series were not happy with it because I honestly had one hell of a good time playing it.

Unavowed was a very good surprise I’ve managed to stumble upon when I found myself in the mood for a nice story and a good pixel art game. The art was exactly what I expected but the story was much better than I could have anticipated. Add to that a very good and relaxing soundtrack, and you have got yourself a gem, but I’m going ahead of myself. Let’s talk about it in order. Axiom Verge – Review
I very much enjoy Metroidvanias and I was looking forward to Axiom Verge, a game I bought a long time ago but only now got to finally play it.
To avoid making this review long I’ll try to go straight to the points I want to make in each paragraph and I spoil the conclusion right here: I didn’t like it. Continue reading “Axiom Verge – Review”
Euphoria (Visual Novel) Review
When I looked into Euphoria briefly I heard it was a mix of the Saw movies with a little bit of porn. Since many highly regarded visual novels have 18+ scenes in them I though it shouldn’t be a problem and people were just a bit too sensitive. I was wrong and in no way I could have foreseen what I would see.
Return of the Obra Dinn – Review
Return of the Obra Dinn is a very different puzzle/mystery game. I think it is by far the most unusual of its genre I have played. For quite some time it has been gathering glowing reviews across the board and when I saw the game was made by the some person who made Papers, Please, a very different game I very much enjoyed, I decided to give it a shot.
A Plague Tale: Innocence – Review
I have to say I was cough completely by surprise by this game. I have not heard about it before and just watching a random YouTube video I stumbled upon this, it looked interesting and I decided to give it a shot. Little did I know that I would be hooked from beginning to end. Continue reading “A Plague Tale: Innocence – Review”
