Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair is a visual novel, a direct sequel to Danganronpa Trigger Happy Havoc.
Being this game a visual novel one should know what to expect. The meat and bones of the game is the story and its characters. While I liked the first Danganronpa very much I’m sad to say I have very mixed feeling towards its sequel. Continue reading
After five months playing Persona 5 I have finally beat it. I also decided to give a few weeks to let everything sink in in order to write a fair review. The reason I’m doing this is because I love it so much I want to try to remove the hype factor but honestly I think it’s impossible now because of how much I enjoyed it.
With so much to cover I don’t think I know where to begin from, so let’s go in order this time and start with the story. Continue reading
It seems the Shantae series have been going for quite a while. Actually, this series began on the Gameboy Color but I have only heard of it recently. Well, not that recently as in the Nintendo DS days I heard about a game called Shantae being released on the DSi Shop but as I didn’t own a Nintendo DS DSi, only the Lite model I kind of forgot about it.
A few years forward and many more games of this franchise have been released on pretty much all platforms and after seeing some charming graphics and pretty artwork I, being a sucker for a good 2D platformer, decided to give it a go. Continue reading
Like I mentioned in my last post, I played two games on my PlayStation 4 while waiting for the release of Persona 5. One was a fantastic surprise, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. The other was a huge disappointment and I’m sad to say that the disappointing one was Mass Effect Andromeda.
First thing worth mentioning is that Mass Effect Andromeda is by no means a bad game, it’s just a big let down. Considering how incrementally better each of the previous games were I think it’s safe to say fans were expecting it to be at least on the same level of Mass Effect 3 (minus the ending). And this is on my opinion the biggest fault of this game, as aside from a few things, it feels worse in every way. Continue reading
While waiting for Persona 5 I recently played two games on my Playstation 4. One which was a fantastic surprise of how good of a game it is and one that was a huge let down. Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, thankfully, was the fantastic surprise! Continue reading
After the 2013 reboot of the Tomb Raider franchise, the most iconic female videogame protagonist is back for another adventure in Rise of the Tomb Raider, a game originally released exclusively on Xbox platforms for limited time, then released not too long after on PC and an year after on Playstation 4. I did play it on PC but since I could not get it at release I decided to wait for the inevitable complete edition to come along with the PS4 version and I have to say, what a fantastic game it is! Even more than an year after its release it is still far better than most games I’ve played in a very long time.
Before I even start talking about the game itself, please forgive me if I make some comparisons to Uncharted because it seems one game has been taking inspirations from the other for years now and both have became so good, so above other adventure games that it seems to me there’s no reason to try to say which is better but instead be thankful us gamers have two great franchises to look forward to. Uncharted 4, the lastest and possibly the last journey of Nathan Drake arrived on the Playstation 4 on May 2016 and just now I got a chance to play it.
Uncharted became one of my all time favorite franchises and certainly my favorite from the last generation of videogames, so how does it fare now that it has jumped to the Playstion 4?
